Airplanes were around me already when I was a child - my father was a glider pilot and we passed the summer weekends on a small glider airfield. In the winter I gladly accompanied him to the workshop of the gliding club. To date I have very vivid images of this time. I loved flying the planes on the father’s lap to the hangar at the end of the day, the flight itself was as much fun as the winch launch.

My mother was not much fond of her daughter’s enthusiasm and she steered my interests towards the horses - until today my second passion.

The own pilot license stayed on the to-do-list for a long time, but not long after my second son's birth the time had come, I made my license. To fly yourself is so much better and more exciting than just always flying as a passenger. A few years later I extended my license to the motor glider and the tow license. At that time, I also focused my professional career on aviation. I've spent 13 years selling and marketing the top aircraft of Stemme AG, a great time with so many thrilling flights all over Europe with the plane that still inspires me to this day - the world's best motor glider STEMME S10-VT. Engine off is a different kind of flying and also just so much exciting.

After that I stayed in aviation. The roads are unpredictable, my connections were branching out and now it has taken me to Portugal where I was invited to start this great project together with friends. I really love country and people. Only the language still causes some problems, but I’m working on it and fortunately the language of aviation is English. You can fly here much better than in Germany, simply because the weather is permanently good.

And since last year I added a new passion: Aerobatics - flying the plane overhead, accurately and safely in all kinds of situations is a challenge and a lot of fun!

Flying makes sooooooo happy, more than words can say - at least me.
