There’s no better way to start this letter than doing it sitting in a plane (unfortunately this time as passenger). As you are reading this text I might assume you are interested in our GFS Global Flight School or maybe just curious about our project, in both cases thanks for being here.

My name is Alberto, I’m 32 years old and I come from Italy. I would define myself as a full-time aviation addicted and for this reason extremely proud to share this addiction with the whole team of GFS.

Since 2014 I’m flying the Dassault Falcon 2000 for private owners and enjoying new challenges on every flight, sure of the city I’m waking up in but not about the place I’m going to finish my day.

Initially based in Lugano - Switzerland, I was flying one of the most challenging approaches in Europe. There I had the chance to become the aircraft manager assisting and advising the owner in all the aircraft related decisions, a position I held until summer 2017. Then I went to Australia for a period of 4 months flying out of Perth and this was probably one of the best aviation related adventures so far for me.

Before starting this chapter of my professional life, I was involved full time in aviation training - in 2009 I first started as a commercial assistant at Escola de Aviação Aerocondor in Portugal, becoming afterwards their sales manager for the Italian market, while being an instructor at the same time. In 2013 I was offered the position of Deputy Head of Training and gladly accepted.

With this new project of GFS Global Flight School I am back to the training - now having the responsibility of a co-owner and board member is the real challenge, but a welcome one.

Looking forward to seeing you in one of our Open Days and hopefully as one of our students.

Ciao,
Alberto
